Artists of UCP | Screen printing
The Artists of UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) have been exploring screen printing techniques. By placing an easily recognizable silhouette in the work, the artists are freed from the confines of rendering and allowed to fully immerse themselves in the flow and pattern of the work. This has allowed for a creative exploration of texture and color evident in the works. ucpboston.org
About the Gallery
The T. Ross Kelly Family Gallery bears the name of Mr. Kelly, a longtime resident of Watertown and significant donor to the library building fund. He has been an award winning professor of chemistry at Boston College for over forty years, active in Watertown affairs as a town meeting member under that earlier form of government, and a volunteer at the Museum of Science. He and his family are regular library users and supporters.
The Watertown Free Public Library hosts monthly exhibits in the T. Ross Kelly Family Gallery on the second floor of the Library.
