Letting go, for awhile

I’m not really a believer in New Year’s resolutions—well, not anymore; too many failed dreams, hopes, and goals. This year I have decided to try one more time because I’m pretty sure I can be successful. On January 1st I committed myself to read outside my comfort genre for six months. Specifically, I am not allowed to read WW2 historical fiction. (Oh, it hurts to write as now I have publicly announced my resolution.)  I love this subgenre of historical fiction. I really, really love it.

To help me with this, I’ve decided to share some of my recent reads within the genre, hoping that someone else will enjoy them as much as I have. If you have read a book that you have loved, in a different genre, please stop by the reference desk to share it with me. I’m open to suggestions!
