The WFPL offers a gathering place for any meeting or program that is free and open to the public. Please let us know if you have any special set-up needs, our library staff will be happy to assist you. You must submit a Meeting Room Reservation Form to reserve a room. The form can be filled out online or printed here and submitted in person or by fax at 617.926.4375. If you fill out our online form you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact our administration office at 617.972.6434. Also see our Meeting Room Policy for important information regarding Meeting Room guidelines.
Use the meeting room calendar to check on the availability of the room you need before you place your request.
There are 3 rooms to choose from:
- The Watertown Savings Bank Meeting Room fits up to 200 and includes a pantry, sink and counter space for food preparation. It also includes a sound system with assistive listening devices, a projector and a pull-down screen.
- The Raya Stern Trustees Room seats 10 around a large conference table with an additional
- The Lucia Mastrangelo Meeting Room seats 16 at moveable tables with an additional 12 chairs and a whiteboard.
Refreshments are allowed in all these locations. A food permit is required and must be obtained from the Health Dept.

If you have need of a quiet space, or a spot to work collaboratively, we have 3 small, private study rooms on the second floor available for your use. One of the rooms is equipped with a whiteboard. All 3 rooms comfortably accommodate 4 people.
Because demand for study rooms is high, we can only guarantee use of a study room if you book it in advance. Each person or party may reserve a room for up to 2 hours per day; if the room has not been reserved by another party, you may stay longer. Reservations for study rooms are accepted up to 4 weeks in advance. You may reserve a study room online, at the Reference desk on the 2nd floor, or over the phone at (617) 972-6436.
