Donate to Hatch

Hatch Makerspace relies on material donations to keep services free. Because of our limited storage, we accept materials donations on an as-needed basis. Hatch does not accept donations that are not pre-approved by Hatch staff. We provide a non-itemized receipt for your donation. If you have items you would like to donate please contact the Hatch Coordinator, Amelia at ayoung@watertown-ma.gov. 

There are several consumable items that we always need: 1.75mm PLA filament, clean sticker vinyl and heat transfer vinyl, Arduino and accessories, Raspberry Pi and accessories, other microcontrollers, clean cotton fabric with no hems or blemishes over 1-yard, yarn, Legos, acrylic sheet, and clean full sheets of craft paper. Hatch does not accept broken electronics, toys, or materials over 6 feet. We welcome your questions and odd requests!

Hatch is grateful for the generosity of the Watertown community. If you would like to make a monetary donation, you may do so online or send a check to the Watertown Free Public Library Building Committee at 123 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
