Democracy Talks: James Madison and the Coming of Age of the U.S.

Thursday, February 21, 2019

During this President’s Day Week, President James Madison will speak firsthand about his experiences during the establishment of our country. He will make you think about how many of the issues being confronted then—the impact of slavery, the role of money, how power is distributed in society, and more—remain relevant today. Please join us! Bil Lewis (President Madison) is a Computer Scientist who has taught at Stanford and Tufts. He is also a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, a past District Governor for Toast Masters, a small businessman, and an Eagle Scout.
