Introduction to Programming Using Python (6 Week Course)

Thursday, January 31, 2019

NOTE: By registering for this event, you are committing to come to six (6) sessions of this class. The class will meet on January 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28, and March 7. This is a short course for those who have little or no experience in computer programming. You will gain insight into programming ideas and goals using Python, a very popular and powerful programming language. The aim of the class is to help you decide if further programming study might be right for you. You will have the opportunity to do some actual programming, as this is where the “feel” of programming can be experienced. Participants must bring their own laptop computers and have rudimentary computer skills such as powering on, creating and modifying text files, and browsing the Internet. Laptop must be able to connect to Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/2821636776) for sharing work.
