Spies, Lies, and Espionage, Oh My!

Thursday, March 12, 2020

Ever wonder what spy work really looks like? Interested in how America’s intelligence history informs current public policy? Calder Walton, the Ernest May Fellow in History & Policy and Assistant Director of the Applied History Project at Harvard Kennedy School, will talk us through the history of intelligence during the Cold War. He will touch on Cold War British and American intelligence, female spies, and how history informs modern policy-making. Walton will also share his experiences editing the Cambridge History of Intelligence and Espionage. Catch him if you can! Registration is not required.
