Mad About the Movies Film Discussion Group: The Last Black Man in San Francisco *via Zoom*

Monday, April 12, 2021

Join Kevin Carson, a Watertown resident with an MFA in Filmmaking and Film Studies, for a discussion of The Last Black Man in San Francisco, winner of dozens of awards. In this gripping film, first-time director Joe Talbot brings us the story of a young man searching for home in a changing city that seems to have left him behind. The Last Black Man in San Francisco is available for Watertown residents to stream for free on Kanopy and Hoopla, as well as borrow on DVD from the library. Watch the movie at home, then join Kevin for a guided conversation about the film. We can't hold Movie Mondays right now, but we can all still enjoy films together!
