Book Drops
Book drops located in the front and rear of the Library, drive up book drop on Thaxter Street between the Library and Town Hall. Self-Check
Are you tired of waiting in line? Try out our self-checkout machine, located to the left of the circulation desk. This machine has a touch screen that will walk you through the process of checking out your own library materials. Some restrictions are associated with the use of this machine. The following items/patrons are not eligible for self-checkout:

  • Books with barcodes on the back cover
  • VHS/Video games
  • Items on hold
  • Patrons with over $5 in fines
  • Patrons with billed or lost items

Mobile Scanner
We have the ability to scan your library barcode directly from your smart phone! This scanner is located at the Circulation desk. Make sure to tell the librarian before use, so they can use the correct station. To use this service, simply download the free app CardStar from the App store for Apple devices or from the Amazon App store for Android devices. This app works with all club cards and is a great way to never forget your library card again!
