Sunday December 2 at 2 PM | Born in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, Dorisiya Yosifova is a Boston-based violinist and instructor. Most recently, she earned a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance (’17) at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She is the co-founder of the Violin-Viola duo femme fuoco, with which she performs regularly, and also plays as a Principal Second Violinist in the newly emerged Apollo Ensemble of Boston.
Sunday January 6 at 2 PM | Joshua studied violin at Vienna University of Music, Yale School of Music, and New England Conservatory. He has a passion for connecting listeners with classical music. His Lecture Recital Invitation to Bach and Ysaye for solo violin is an educational musical presentation combining top-rate performance skills, academic knowledge and engaging story-telling.
Sunday February 3 at 2 PM | Women In World Jazz features female composers from around the world with extensive experience in performance and education. Their educational program features musical styles from Cuba’s Cha Cha to Cape Verde’s Coladeira, as well as songs from Israel, Brazil and Japan, mixed with jazz favorites.
Sunday March 3 at 2 PM | The celtic band the Kelly Girls have quickly gained recognition as one of the most entertaining Celtic Bands in New England. Rousing renditions of songs and tunes rooted in the Celtic traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Canada, and America along with captivating harmonies and instrumentation lend to their signature sound. Get in the St. Patrick’s spirit with this talented group!
