Project Literacy only accepts learners living in Watertown, Waltham, Newton, Cambridge, Boston or Belmont. We cannot accept students who are living in the United States for only part of the school year. For options outside of Watertown, visit the Community Help page.
Once registered, students are placed in a class if there is space available. If classes are full, you will be added to our waitlist. Tutoring can begin at any time if there is a tutor available.

Project Literacy offers evening and day classes that meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as classes that meet once a week on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. We also provide small groups that meet throughout the week focusing on grammar, conversation, reading and writing, TOEFL, citizenship, etc.
In addition to classes, Project Literacy also has a team of trained tutors that can work with you one on one in the library or online.
